AFAA and the University of Maryland present a Special Training Program:

Fire Alarms and the Codes Webinar Series

 

  • This popular program has been released in a webinar series and includes five short courses for the fire alarm industry. These courses explain the roles, relationships and requirements of building codes, fire codes, and the Life Safety Code with respect to fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Each session is 60 minutes long and focuses on a particular aspect of the fire alarm industry and how it is affected by specific regulations.
  • Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) members and graduates of the University of Maryland in Fire Protection Engineering receive a $10 discount per session. Each session has been recorded and all course materials are available for participants to complete at their own pace.
