"NFPA 3000TM  (PS) was developed by a 50-member Technical Committee that includes representatives from law enforcement, fire, EMS, facility safety and security, hospitals, universities, private business, and federal agencies. The first-of-its-kind body of knowledge, provides the framework that enables communities to establish comprehensive plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines for dealing with ASHER events. NFPA 3000TM (PS) is not an operational standard operating procedure (SOP) or standard operating guideline (SOG)"

Presented by: Richard Roberts, Chair of AFAA Building Codes Committee
"A review of the Public Safety Commission Report on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school (Parkland Florida) mass shooting detailing fire alarm system operation and an overview of the various model codes that permit pull stations to be eliminated in new and existing K-12 schools."
