The cost for a sponsored (contract) seminar is $1600 per day ($1300 for AFAA Members), plus books, travel expenses, and shipping charges. The book costs are as follows:
Fire Alarm System Testing and Inspection $20 each Fire Alarm Plan Review $30 each Basic Fire Alarm $25 each Understanding IBC Fire Alarm Requirments NICET II $25 each plus $110 for IBC-2009 Understanding NFPA 101 Fire Alarm Requirments NICET III $25 each plus $93 for NFPA 101-2006 Intermediate Fire Alarm (Recommended for all NICET levels) $102 each including NFPA 72-2007 NFPA 72-2010 Changes $102 each including NFPA 72-2010 Jump Into Fire! $25 each
We provide an AFAA instructor, laptop computer, and a projector. The sponsor provides the meeting room (classroom set-up), projector screen, power and any meals or refreshments to be served during the seminar. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required 60 days prior to the seminar dates in order to hold them. Seminar charges will be billed at the completion of the seminar and are due upon receipt.
